Official Plan Review - Rural Ottawa Public Meeting

This is your opportunity to learn more about proposed changes to the City of Ottawa’s Official Plan that will affect the rural area.  The Manotick Village and Community Association will give a presentation and facilitate discussion about the proposed policies for:

  • future residential development and growth in the rural area and villages,
  • rural employment lands,
  • mineral aggregate resources,
  • the review of agricultural land, and
  • city-wide transportation

City Planning Staff will attend the meeting to answer questions and listen to the conversation. For more information about the proposed policies, visit and read the Comprehensive Five year review of the Official Plan staff report that was tabled at the March 26 meeting of Planning Committee.
