The City of Ottawa is currently in the process of developing an Older Adult Plan with the goal of effectively serving and being responsive to the needs of older adults now and in the future.
During the months of October and November 2011, the City heard from older adults about their experiences and ideas for improving City services and making Ottawa an age-friendly city.
A draft action plan has been created based on the fall 2011 consultation findings and background research. You can participate by filling out an online feedback survey. The input collected will help prioritize and refine the actions before the plan is presented to City Council in September 2012.
