ROSSS launches new Taking Care Program for caregivers

Rural Ottawa South Support Services (ROSSS) would like to announce the start of their upcoming Taking Care Program.  If you are a caregiver looking after a senior or adult with a physical disability please join us for free monthly information sessions, peer support groups or a casual tea. This is a great opportunity to meet other caregivers, learn valuable information on community resources, and increase your support network.

Running September to June on the second Tuesday of each month, here is a list of the topics planned for the Taking Care Program this year:

September 13 – Helping with Downsizing

October 11 - Hospice at May Court & The Effects of Illness on the Family

November 8 – CCAC, What’s New?

December 13 – Family Relationships

January 10 – Hearing Society

February 14 - Parkinson’s Society

March 13 - ABC’s of Fraud

April 10 - Aging & Financial Considerations

May 8 – Occupational Therapy What’s it all about?

June 12 – Aging Well Theatre
