ITR Theatre Company is really excited to be presenting Waiting for the Parade by John Murrell this fall.
The play is a series of vignettes about five Calgary women on the home front in the Second World War. It's a celebration of the unsung heroes of war, the women that sustain the nation while men are enthralled in conflicts. It's a time fraught with loneliness, propaganda and rationing.
Waiting for the Parade will be performed on November 9, 10, and 16 through 18. November 9 and 16 are evening shows starting at 7:30 PM; November 10 and 17 are our delicious dinner theatres which start at 6:00 pm and November 18 is a matinee with cookies and tea/coffee and starts at 2:00 PM.
As usual, the performances will be held in the upstairs hall at the Osgoode Community Centre at 5662 Osgoode Maine, K0A 2W0.
Tickets are $20 for adult, $16 for seniors/students and $55 for the dinner.
Tickets went on sale September 24. They can be purchased at http://www.itrtheatre.com/ or by calling 613-800-1165.
