Celebrating Village Heritage - Heritage Forum 2017

Heritage Ottawa and the Rideau Township Historical Society invite you to an all-day Forum, CELEBRATING VILLAGE HERITAGE, that focuses on enhancing and protecting the unique historic attributes of Ottawa's villages.

This special event will include guest speakers from the City Archives and Heritage Branch, the National Trust for Canada, and private architectural practice. Not to be missed are a guided Walking Tour of the picturesque Village of Kars—home to several designated heritage buildings—and an afternoon Bus Tour of beautiful Rideau Township. 

The low $20 registration fee includes lunch, refreshment breaks, and access to all events!

RIDEAU TOWNSHIP HISTORICAL SOCIETY has been preserving and promoting local history for the former Rideau Township since 1974.
