Living with Wildlife in Munster - Information Session

  • Munster Community Centre 58 Dogwood Drive Ottawa, ON, K0A 1B0 Canada (map)

One of the best things about living in Munster and the surrounding area is our ability to enjoy nature. Our proximity to open spaces and the creatures within them is a never ending source of enjoyment for many of us. But it is also a source of concern for some as we encounter raccoons, skunks, coyotes, fishers, foxes and even bears and moose. How can we continue to enjoy our abundant wildlife while minimizing risk to pets, property and people?

Coexistence with wildlife is the topic of an information session that will be held at the Munster Community Centre on Wednesday July 26.

Trevor Horvatin, Wildlife Specialist with the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) will join us to discuss ways to successfully coexist with the wildlife in our area.

Please RSVP if you plan to attend.
