North Gower's 55th Winter Carnival is on Friday, February 3rd and Saturday, February 4th at the Alfred Taylor Recreation Centre. Here is a detailed schedule of events:

Friday – Feb. 3rd

6 pm – Dinner and Show, Presented by the Anglican Parish of North Gower, will be a Chicken Dinner followed by Comedians. Mike Beatty is very clever, offbeat and funny. He has performed hundreds of shows for audiences coast to coast spreading his skewed world view. Mike has been featured on CTV's Comedy Now and has appeared at the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal. He can also be heard on XM's Laugh Attack and CBC radio's Definitely Not the Opera, Madly off in all Directions and The Debaters.

Matt Carter is a veteran of the Just For Laughs Comedy festival, and Canadian Comedy Award Nominee. In 2016, he won Absolute Comedy's Prove You’re a Headliner Competition. He has performed with the likes of Bowser and Blue and Gavin McInnes. Matt Carter, as funny as he is charming and as charming as he is colour blind, he will have you rolling in the aisle or the tiny spaces between tables depending on the venue.
